Workshop on military healthcare ethics

Lecturers: Dr Charlie Beardmore (UK) & Lieutenant General (Rtd) Professor Martin Charles Marshall Bricknell, CB, OStJ, PhD, DM (UK)

This workshop will summarise the NATO Standardisation Agreement (STANAG) on Military Healthcare Ethics, STANAG 6562 AMedP-8.19 published in June 2025. Participants will then apply these principles to analysing case scenarios using the free King’s Military Healthcare Ethics Smartphone App. The session will close by discussing how education on Military Healthcare Ethics might reduce the risk of ‘moral injury’ for health professionals involved in future conflict. 

Participation in the workshop is free, but pre-registration is required. Please fill in all the fields of the registration form and add your personal email address to the e-mail (also under the payer's details), after registration you will receive a confirmation by e-mail (an invoice will not be sent!).
