Workshop Description:

Join us for an intensive, hands-on procedural skills lab designed for healthcare professionals, simulation educators and clinical trainers. The workshop utilises the state-of-the-art manikin Carbon Man — a versatile, low-maintenance training system engineered to maximise throughput and value in procedure-based education.

During this interactive session you will

•   Perform a comprehensive range of invasive and critical procedures — including chest tube insertion, Foley catheter placement, wound packing, intraosseous (IO) access, intravenous (IV) cannulation, endotracheal intubation,     cricothyroidotomy (crick) and more.
•  Experience fast re-set times between procedural stations, enabling multiple students to practice sequentially with minimal delay.
•  Explore the operational and cost benefits of Carbon Man: its durable design and cost-efficient consumables make the cost per procedure dramatically lower than traditional models.
•  Discuss best practices for integrating manikin-based procedural training into your curriculum, simulation centre or hospital education programme.
