Eesmärgid:
1. To improve understanding about accommodative and vergence interaction mechanisms.
2. To introduce ways and methods to assess and solve accommodative and non-starbismic binocular dysfunctions.
3. To introduce different management options for accommodative and non-strabismic binocular dysfunctions: spectacles, prisms, vision training.
Sisukirjeldus:
To get more in-depth knowledge about accommodative and non-strabismic binocular dysfunctions. Different examination methods, analyses of clinical findings, diagnostic and differential diagnostic, management plan – spectacle prescription, prism correction, and vision training. Accommodative and vergence dysfunction in relation to learning and visual perception.
Õpisündmuse teemad:
Lectures are combined with practical lessons and techniques.
Online tests will be about the current discussed topics.
Homeworks consist of online tests and practical works of examining, diagnosing and treating real patients with accommodation and/or vergence problems as well as analysis of the cases.
