- Understand structure and mechanism of binocular vision system.
- Distinguish normal and abnormal binocular vision development stages.
- Apply and interpretate basic binocular function assessment methods in relation to refractive error correction.
- Identify and describe main disorders of binocular vision and their management: amblyopia and strabismus.
Sihtgrupid: graduated optometrists and third year optometry students
Eesmärgid: The aim of the course: to get new or recall previously obtained knowledge about binocular vision, as well as practical skills in basic examination techniques for binocular function assessment; to obtain skills in interpretation of binocular function assessment results for better optometric practice.

Online (Zoom) lectures, seminars and group work: 4 days (33 ak t)
On-site practicing 3 days. (24 ak t)
Individual work: 6 tests (Online – MOODLE), home reading, preparing for group work, seminars, practical works, and tests, homework, course projects. (112 ak t)
Online tests will be about the current discussed topics.
