Tasuta veebiseminar antibiootikumide kasutamise lühi- ja pikaajalistest mõjudest mikrobiootale. Ootame Teid osalema 12.septembril 2024 toimuvale Biocodexi veebiseminarile, kus räägitakse antibiootikumide mõjust mikrobiootale.
Lektoriteks on professor Harry Sokol, kes on Pariisi Saint Antoine'i haigla gastroenteroloogia osakonna professor ja Sorbonne'i ülikooli soolestiku mikrobioota ja immuunsuse uurimisrühma juht, ning Pentti Huovinen, kes on on Soome Turu Ülikooli arstiteaduskonna bakterioloogia emeriitprofessor.
Koolitus toimub kell 15.45-17.30 (Eesti aja järgi).

Harry Sokol is Professor in the Gastroenterology department of the Saint Antoine Hospital (APHP, Paris, France), the leader of the Gut Microbiota and Immunity research team in Sorbonne University, the head of the APHP Fecal Microbiota Transplantation center and the coordinator of the Paris Center for Microbiome Medicine. He is an internationally recognized expert in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and in gut microbiota fields with over 320 publications. His work focuses on studying the gut microbiota-host interactions in health and diseases to better understand their role in pathogenesis and develop innovative treatments. He is also involved in clinical trials evaluating fecal microbiota transplantation in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Pentti Huovinen, MD, PhD, is Emeritus Professor of Bacteriology in the Medical Faculty, University of Turku, Turku, Finland. He has worked also at Infectious Disease Unit, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, and studied in Wharton School, Philadelphia. His main research interests are various aspects of antibiotic resistance and health aspects of human microbiota. In 2008, he received Award of Excellence of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, and in 2009, he was President of the 19th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, (EC-CMID), Helsinki, Finland. He is also known as an awarded science writer and speaker.
